‘It came about from past experiences that were very painful at the time. From growing up and being massively involved in sports, never a day went by where I wasn’t on my feet running around.
As childhood passed and I made it to university it was very clear I had a talent for hurdling. I trained hard, so hard I even jeopardized grades for my sports, so when I became injured everything came to a halt. I struggled with finding the treatment I needed, advice was inconsistent and I didn’t understand why everybody was giving me different information. I was so frustrated that I couldn’t stay fit and healthy whilst I managed my injury.
